iPhone 16 Plus — sensor array 0x380000: Charging port + wireless coil, or logic board sandwich separation

Low confidenceVerified sourceSMC: silent sensor

On the iPhone 16 Plus, 0x380000 means: Charging port + wireless coil, or logic board sandwich separation.

What does this code mean?

SMC “BSC failure” panic: the system management controller (built into the SoC) periodically waits for a response from each mandatory sensor; Repair Wiki associates this value (3670016 in decimal) with an undetected charging port and coil, or with a logic board / SoC separation. With no response, it forces a restart, which repeats roughly every 3 minutes (≈180 s) as long as the sensor stays silent.

Which part to test first?

Check the charging port and coil flexes first; if they are good, measure the test point given by Repair Wiki (≈0.350 V expected in diode mode; OL = sandwich/SoC separation).
