iPhone 15 Pro Max — sensor array 0x600000: Wireless charging coil + proximity sensor
High confidenceVerified sourceSMC: silent sensor
On the iPhone 15 Pro Max, 0x600000 means: Wireless charging coil + proximity sensor.
What does this code mean?
SMC “BSC failure” panic: the system management controller (built into the SoC) periodically waits for a response from each mandatory sensor; here, two sensors are missing: proximity (0x200000) and wireless coil (0x400000). With no response, it forces a restart, which repeats roughly every 3 minutes (≈180 s) as long as the sensor stays silent.
Which part to test first?
Check/test the front sensors flex and the wireless coil flex.
