iPhone 11 Pro Max — tg0v: Battery or charging port flex
High confidenceVerified sourceMissing sensor
On the iPhone 11 Pro Max, tg0v means: Battery or charging port flex (the battery connector is on this flex).
What does this code mean?
Watchdog panic: thermalmonitord no longer receives readings from the TG0V sensor, linked to the battery; on the 11 Pro / Pro Max, the battery connector goes through the charging port flex; with no news from it for ~3 minutes, iOS restarts the iPhone, in a loop as long as the sensor stays missing.
Which part to test first?
Test a known-good battery, then a known-good charging port flex (battery connector included); measure the PMU_TO_BATTERY_SWI line in diode mode.
